  • Deploy automatic anti-DDOS tools.
  • Monitor and handle small and medium-sized DDoS attacks.
  • Configuration according to customer usage needs.

2.6. Check and handle security vulnerabilities

  • Periodically check for security errors on the server using automatic tools.
  • Learn and analyze attack methods when there are signs of sabotage attacks, deploy appropriate prevention measures.
  • Assess the security level of the source code in use, check the customer’s website management process and advise on solutions.
  • Use the corresponding data backup to restore the website’s operation when attacked if necessary.

2.7. Configure the data backup mechanism according to customer requirements

  • Configure backup on the customer’s server or on VinaHost’s backup service (backup.php).
  • Configure daily, weekly or monthly backup rotation.
  • Configure filtering of unnecessary data when performing backup.
  • Perform data recovery from backup when necessary.
  • Check periodically every week to ensure the data backup system operates stably.

2.8. Using VinaHost’s monitoring system

  • Server/VPS is always monitored by 247 staff and intervened to fix the problem as soon as it occurs.
  • Monitor the basic services of the server (SSH/Apache/Nginx/MySQL), network connection and the level of server resources used.

  • Ensure that when transferring website source code from another provider to VinaHost’s new server, it will operate as stable as the current server.

2.11. Monitor the website to evaluate and advise on website optimization solutions based on GTMetrix/Google Pagespeed Insight

  • Using website performance evaluation tools such as GTMetrix, Google Pagespeed Insight and combining with analysis techniques such as using the “Waterfall” site resource load measurement table as well as other techniques, VinaHost will classify and propose the most feasible solutions for coders to fine-tune the source code (including back-end and front-end) to optimize the website to the highest level.

3. Customer responsibilities

  • To ensure that server monitoring and management are performed at the most optimal level, VinaHost technical department will revoke administrative rights at the highest level and limit some access rights to interfere with the server configuration.
  • All administrative operations on the server will be stored and handed over to the customer upon request.
  • Customers need to coordinate to notify VinaHost technical department when making changes to upgrade the website source code that may affect the website’s operation or the security level of the server.
