Customers get dedicated support when register and manage domain names at VinaHost.
Interface management
Customers can use the domain administrator interface to perform all administrative operations of international domain names, including:
- Change the contact information (whois)
- Lock and unlock domain name
- Change nameserver
- Manage DNS records
- Configure email forwarding function
Depending on the nameserver is being used, customers can proactively manage Vietnam domain name equivalent to the function of international domain names.
Management procedures
For Vietnam domain name management procedures, sales team will be dedicated to guide and support customers perform all operations.
- Update contact information of domain name owners.
- Change the value of the domain nameservers
For international domains, Sales Team will inform and guide customers to perform the operation
- Declare domain name owner with the Ministry of Information and Communication / VNNIC prescribed.
- Update email contact address periodically requested by authorities of international domain names ICANN.
Perform technical tasks
Technical Team will perform all the administrative operations of domain names, including:
- Configure the functionality provided in the administrative interface of the customer
- Guide to register and use bundled domain name services (Google Apps & Blogspot).
- Check the identification of the domain’s DNS records and advise how to optimally configure.
Limited support
All support domain administrators operations are done completely free, however there are limited cases including:
- Directly perform administrative operations on the interface of the service provider registered other domain names.
- Inaccurate Contact information report with the Ministry of Information and Communication / VNNIC and ICANN.
